Q Can I travel with my pet?
A Yes, as long as your pet is a domestic cat or dog. Your pet must be crated, be current with his or her vacinations and must fit on your lap. There is no cost for one or two pets that fit in one crate, on your lap. There is a charge for additional crated pets. Guide and service dogs have no restrictions.
 
Q Can I get a seat on the shuttle if I have not pre-booked?
A It is preferable that you make advance reservations. Having said that, it is always possible to get a seat if one is available and your timing matches our schedule.
 
Q Is a shuttle service the same as a taxi?
A Taxis and shuttles are like apples and oranges. While they are similar, there is quite a difference. A taxi will pick you up at your beck and call - a shuttle runs on a schedule.
 
Q How does your schedule work?
A We depart Clare between 8 & 8:30 am, Digby around 9:00 am and the Annapolis Valley about 9:30. While our schedule is somewhat flexible, all flights must arrive at the airport no later than 3:00 pm. If you are arriving on an international flight, your flight must be in no later than 2:00 pm. Customs can take up to an hour and a half, and have been known to take as long as 2 hours.
 
Q What time do you leave the city or the airport?
A We leave the city and/or the airport once all pre-booked passengers are onboard, which can be as early as noon but no later than 3:00 pm. 
 
Q I have a reservation on VIA Rail. What time do you arrive at the train station?
A We arrive at the bus terminal, VIA Rail station between 12:00 & 12:30 - winter driving can be quite a bit slower than summer driving
Q Can I book online?
A Just send us an e-mail - we will need a telephone number for confirmation.
 
Q Can I use a debit or credit card to pay for my fare?
A Sorry, no. In order to keep our costs down, payment must be made in cash. Receipts are always available - if you require one, please ask Doug, who is not only your driver, but the shuttle's owner.
 
Q How many pieces of luggage can I bring on the shuttle?
A Please limit your luggage to two pieces, no larger than 24x24x36" (60x60x90 cm). You may also bring a "carry on" that fits on your lap. There may be a charge for each piece of luggage that is over the limit.
 
Q Do you have baby seats? What about toddler seats, etc.
A Sorry, you will have to provide your own.
 
Q Do you have a rate for children?
A Yes, we do! Children 12 and under travel for $55-$60, depending on your destination and pick up points.
 
Q Can a child travel alone on the shuttle?
A A child younger than 12 should have his or her parents accompany him or her. So the answer to that one is no.
 
Q I don't see my pick up point or destination point listed on your web site. How do I determine if I can be picked up or dropped off at a certain location?
A Give us a call - 902-586-8302 or toll free, 1-855-586-6140 and we'll let you know if you can be picked up or dropped off at a specific location.
 
Q Can you get me to the airport for a 7:00 am flight? What about if I arrive at the airport in the evening?
A No sorry, we can't. One run a day is plenty. Each round trip takes a minimum of 6 to 8 hours.
 
Q Can I hire the shuttle for a day?
A You sure can. Just give us a call to make the arrangements.
